UG TV at DevTeach User Group Summit in Toronto 11 décembre 2008 11:21
Every year DevTeach host the Canadian User Group Summit. UGTV was there during the Toronto Summit. User Group Television (UGTV pronounced YOU GEE TEE VEE) is a monthly video show dedicated to bringing informative programming to User Groups. After our trip to TechEd Orlando Alan returns home to the UK and leaves us with freshman news anchor Chris McKay. UGTV travels north of the border to inspect the DevTeach Conference in Toronto and wraps up the remains of TechEd in Orlando. Click up here and see this cool video.

En visitant les pages Session.aspx et Schedule.aspx il est maintenant possible de construire votre horaire pour la conférence principal. Il vous suffit de vous connecter au site et de cliquer sur le lien ‘’Add to my schedule’’ pour la bâtir. Par la suite en cliquant sur le lien ‘’Configuration de compte’’ il est possible de visualiser cette horaire et vous y retrouverez les liens au matériel des sessions, au formulaire d’évaluation et une fonction pour faire parvenir cette horaire par courriel. C’est une façons simple de planifier votre horaire et les données seront utilisées par les conférenciers pour avoir un aperçu du nombre de participants à leurs sessions.

A chaque conférence nous avons des sessions ‘’bonus’’. Cette année à Montréal nous avons trois sessions. Lundi à 18 :00 Fabrice Marguerie et Frédéric Schäfer présenteront sur LINQ et WPF en Direct. Le tout est en français et c’est aussi une présentations du groupe de la communauté .NET de Montréal. C’est gratuit pour les membres du groupe et les participants de la conférence. Mercredi soir, Carl Franklin et Richard Campbell feront l’enregistrement du .NET Rock Show. Le sujet est : ‘’ Boo and F# Head-To-Head’’. Jeudi midi,nous avons une session de Mathieu Tanguay : ‘’ Gérer votre temps facilement’’. C’est à ne pas manquer.

The Universal Thread has release the coverage of the 2008 PASS Community Summit which was presented in Seattle on Nov. 18-21, 2008. The Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) hosts the industry’s largest user-run educational event exclusively dedicated to the SQL Server. This year's reporting was including Jonathan Kehayias, Dejan Sunderic and Jean-René Roy. The report includes as usual technical details, videos, pictures and content in regards to all aspects of the conference.
