Just think of all the iPhone apps you can recreate for this new platform in a fraction of time it takes on the iPhone platform. You can create cool multi-platform using XNA and cloud-connected applications with Silverlight.  The marketplace will open around the end of summer for this new platform. &lt;b&gt;Finally, a real platform that can compete with the iPhone.&lt;/b&gt; If you are not convinced take a look at the video below. I have been an iPhone user for the past 2 years and after seeing this, I was ready to toss my iPhone for the Windows Phone 7.
